Little Crosses:
Why Is Cindy Sheehan's Son Dead?

Little Cindy Sheehan decided to take a vacation with George W. Bush. This impostor president felt Washington was too hot during August (for more reasons than one). So, he packed his bags for his pseudo-ranch in Crawford, Texas. Little Cindy decided to tag along. No, she wasn't invited. Nevertheless, she tagged along anyway.

You see Little Cindy has a problem. Her son is dead and she's having serious difficulty dealing with that. The time she spent earlier with our impostor president didn't relieve her grief. In fact, it left a sour taste in her mouth to go along with the hurt in her heart. After giving the matter some thought, she came up with two little questions for Our Dear Leader: Why is my son dead and for what noble cause did he die?

Little Cindy Sheehan spent the red hot month of August in a ditch on the dusty road leading to Bush's pseudo-ranch door. She vowed to stay there until Our Dear Leader came out and answered her two questions. She kept her promise. But, our impostor president made no effort to keep his.

Whether George Bush liked it or not, he was obligated to speak to Little Cindy. Why? Because he took an oath to protect and defend the people of our nation on Inauguration Day. Part of his job, even as pseudo-president, is to honor our fallen soldiers and give solace to their grieving families. So far, Bush has been AWOL in fulfilling these solemn duties. And it's about time someone said so. In her own heroic way, Little Cindy Sheehan has done just that.

Army Spc. Casey Sheehan of Vacaville, California, was a quiet, kind kid. He was an altar boy, an Eagle Scout and a church youth group leader. He strongly believed in family, church and his country. When the war started, he reenlisted and volunteered for the rescue mission. Casey Sheehan didn't go to Iraq to kill or conquer anyone. He went there to save his buddies. In the end, he couldn't save himself. On April 4, 2004, his unit was attacked with rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fire in Baghdad. On that tragic day, both Casey Sheehan and Little Cindy Sheehan died. As of this writing, more than 1,800 soldiers have been returned in body bags. There are grieving mothers and families all over this nation. They have a right to know; Little Cindy Sheehan has a right to know and the entire nation should demand answers to the questions: Why are these brave Americans dead and for what noble cause did they die?

When you go to Little Cindy's website (meetwithcindy.org), you can't look at her photo and into her eyes without feeling her pain and sorrow. The snapshots of the little makeshift crosses by the side of the road, representing some of the fallen soldiers, are simply heartrending. And where was Our Dear Leader amidst all this grief? As usual, AWOL.

This Bush administration is cruelly criminal due to its utter arrogance, ignorance, insensitivity and incompetence. George Bush ducked Cindy Sheehan down in Texas because he had no good answers to her questions. Michael Moore was powerfully prophetic during his acceptance speech at the 75th Annual Academy Awards on March 23, 2003, just three days after Bush announced the start of the Iraq war. Michael said: "...we live in fictitious times. We live in the time where we have fictitious election results that elects a fictitious president. We live in a time where we have a man sending us to war for fictitious reasons. Whether it's the fictition of duct tape or the fictition of orange alerts we are against this war, Mr. Bush. Shame on you, Mr. Bush, shame on you. And any time you got the Pope and the Dixie Chicks against you, your time is up."

No matter how long Bush tries to cover up his crimes against humanity being done in Iraq and elsewhere in our name, a day of reckoning is on the way. At some point in the not too distant future, Bush and his evil minions will be called to account. The mass murder, the torture, the assassinations, the destruction, the hatred, the unending violence must stop. If we call ourselves Americans; if we believe in justice and peace; if we believe in God and country, we must rise up and put an end to this satanic charade. Little Cindy Sheehan isn't the only one who needs answers. The entire nation and humanity need answers, too.

Little Cindy Sheehan took her broken heart to Texas and exposed Our Dear Leader for the bare-assed monster he is. As fall descends on America, the air is thick with growing hostility. The disaster in New Orleans only heightens the smoldering fury. Iraq has come home in the form of a hurricane named Katrina. Well, the bible is very explicit: What you sow, so shall you reap. This savage insanity must be stopped or America will surely die. Every one of us should take a pilgrimage to Cindy's website; find her snapshot; look into her eyes and sadly ask...Dearest Little Cindy: Why is your beloved son dead and for what noble cause did he die? After you finally stop crying, perhaps you'll summon the courage to join those of us who are trying to stop Bush's cruel war and bring his evil empire to an end.
